2009 EFT Updates

Due to new mandates issued by Gary Craig regarding what may or may not be called “EFT” (Emotional Freedom Techniques) it was necessary for me to make changes in all of my websites.  As of July 1, 2009 all of my websites will be converted to incorporate the verbiage in lieu of EFT…

 

 EMT = Energy Meridian Tapping .

 

A short explanation of the necessity of having to make these changes is:  I use a variety of healing modality processes in combination with EFT when working with my clients.  With the new guidelines issued by Gary Craig, the founder of EFT, I can no longer call these processes and/or procedures EFT.   The only way that I would ethically be able to call the work I do, EFT, would mean that I would have to deny my clients the healing benefits of other healing modalities that I have mastered and utilized for over 20 years by not combining them with EFT.   Mr. Craig has made it perfectly clear that  EFT practitioners must adhere to his EFT training practices ONLY if we want to use the term EFT.  His new stance on this has created a need for a change in how I promote the work that I do.

 

Therefore, I will be using the term EMT (Energy Meridian Tapping) to describe what I previously referred to as EFT.   EMT is one of many ‘Energy Psychology Healing Modalities’ in existence today.  All of the various forms of energy meridian or “Tapping” techniques have been reclassified as “MERIDIAN TAPPING TECHNIQUES.” EFT and EMT are included under this new ‘umbrella term’ (along with many others) for this class of healing modality.

 

EMT is only one of the healing techniques I use when working with my clients.  It is, without question, the most amazing healing technique I’ve ever worked with and it blends beautifully with Reiki and Hypnosis,  as well as a ‘stand alone’ healing process.  I was introduced to EFT as part of my advanced hypnosis training back in 2002 and have used it, with fantastic results, ever since. 

 

It breaks my heart that I must dissociate from using the term EFT.  It is very important for me to be integral, transparent, and forthright within my business, to my clients and to the public interest. The changes that Gary Craig made required that I change my business model in order to be ethical and integral.  The semantics involved, with the changes previously outlined, have no impact whatsoever on the bottom line results of the healing modalities I use with my clients.  Tapping works! Period!  It produces results rapidly and it’s a tool that everyone can use to bring about the healing they seek… regardless of what the process is called.
